Finding the Balance

Life can be very busy if we do not learn how to say a resounding NO! Many things can consume your time and you find yourself exhausted and low on energy. Sometimes it becomes necessary to disconnect and reboot. If we do not disconnect and reboot the results can be we are filled with stress and frustration because our wheels are always spinning. I encourage you to find the balance or you will pay the cost. Determine which responsibilities are truly necessary and those that can be refused. Stop saying yes and overcommitting when it is not reasonable for you to add “just one more thing to your plate.” I get that you want to feel accomplished and do many things, but let go of unnecessary things and focus only on things that are absolutely required of you. Stop trying to solve the world’s problems while creating more problems for yourself! Figure out TODAY what you can give up and let it go if it is overtaxing you and bringing you out of balance. Find your balance and do EVERYTHING in your power to maintain it so you can have a healthy life. If you do not take care of yourself, who will? Make time for yourself as well. Make yourself a priority. You only get one life, make the most of it.

And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. Mark 6:31 ESV
